Who we are

Laksh (laksh.prismaple.com), operated by Prismaple, helps students in India discover government exams and fill official application forms quickly. This policy covers the Laksh website and the Laksh - Govt Exam Autofill browser extension.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your mobile number, used to create and sign in to your account.
  • Profile data you provide: details commonly required on government exam forms - name, date of birth, parents' names, gender, category, contact details, address, education records, and identity document numbers (such as Aadhaar or PAN) and document files you choose to upload.
  • Usage analytics: anonymous product events (pages viewed, features used) via Mixpanel and Meta Pixel, to improve the product and measure our advertising.

How the extension uses your data

  • The extension fetches your own saved profile from our servers after you sign in, and fills it into government exam application forms only when you click Fill.
  • Autofill runs only on exam application pages linked to exams you unlocked on the Laksh website.
  • The extension never submits any form for you - you always review and submit yourself.
  • It does not read, collect, or transmit the content of web pages you visit. It records only anonymous usage counts (e.g. "autofill was used, N fields filled").
  • Your sign-in token is stored locally in your browser's extension storage and can be removed at any time by logging out or uninstalling.

What we never do

  • We never sell your personal data.
  • We never share your profile with third parties, except the payment processor (Razorpay) for handling subscription payments - we never see or store your card details.
  • We never fill or submit anything without your explicit action.

Storage & security

Your data is stored on secured servers (MongoDB Atlas) and transmitted only over HTTPS. Access requires your authenticated session. Uploaded documents are used solely to help you fill applications.

Your control

You can edit or clear your profile at any time from your account. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will remove it within 7 days.
